3D Assist

Assistant: Box Creator.

The Box Creator Assistant is made for distributing layers based on the surface of a cube. This tool can be used to create cubes, boxes, tunnels, walls, and other effects.

How it works.

To use this tool, simply choose which sides of the box you wish to use and the target size of the box. It's good to go. Through this simple method, you can actually create a wide variety of shapes and arrangements.

Box Creator will create a cube out of your selected layers. There need to be six, of course. For a real cube, each side has to be square and the same size; this is the case with a cube created by the Box Creator. If the layers are rectangular, the Box Creator will arrange them as close to a cube as possible, possibly leaving gaps between.

This tool is different than the Cubic Distribution tool, an Assistant that distributes layers within a cube.

The parameter list.

Interesting paramaters include the Dimensions section, where you enter in the size of the box. If you select '1 Layer Per Side', the Assistant will line one layer into each side of the box.
