I have downloaded the Animation Presets after installing my plugin. How do I use them?

Presets are premade compositions that already contain parameter and keyframe info to create a visual effect. They are called 'favorites' in earlier versions of After Effects. To install the presets, simply place the Presets folder into your After Effects/ Plugins folder on your hard drive.

In After Effects 6.5 +higher, you load a preset by going to the menu item Animation> Load Preset. In After Effects 6.0 +earlier, you load a favorite by going to the menu item Effect> Load Favorite.

Loading the .FFX will open the favorite/preset as a new composition. Basically, you are opening After Effects files that have been saved as text instructions. Get the presets from our Tutorial page.
