View your mask as you work.

Primatte gives you four View modes to toggle the contents of the Image Window. The interface also gives you Zoom and Pan tools, plus the choice of previewing your subject against a solid new color or your new target background.

Switch between View modes.

1- Comp View Changes the view to the composited image. If a key has been pulled, then a composite of the foreground and background layers is displayed. Otherwise, then the original image is displayed.

2- Mask View Changes the view io a grayscale representation of the mask that’s been created.

3- Front View Changes the view to the original Foreground image. Toggling between Front and Comp view - to compare the composite with the original photo - will often reveal details that have been lost.

4- Back View Changes the view to the Background image. This allows you to check on details of the background that you're working towards.

View the new backgound.

Tucked next to the 'Back View' button are optionsto view your masked image against a new grahic or a solid color of your choice.

'Composite Against Background Layer' is available for Photoshop 7.0 + higher. It's the default for those versions of Photoshop, allowing you to see your background layer through the mask that Primatte creates.

Your other choice is 'Composite Against Color'. With this option, pick a color on the fly to use as the background to your matte. It's the default for earlier verions of Photoshop.

Zoom or pan the image .

There are four Navigation tools for zooming and panning. They work like the magnification fucntions in Photoshop or similar programs.

Navigate your Image Window to work on specific areas of your matte, and at closer detail.
