New features in Primatte Chromakey 3.0 Software.
When you open Primatte Chromakey 3.0 Software, you will see a variety of new tools to speed up the masking process. Users of version 2.0 will notice a more intuitive interface and new keyboard shortcuts for Primatte's most popular tools. The best new feature of Primatte Chromakey 3.0 Software, however, is better automation through an AutoMask button. Speed and ease is the primary feedback we heard from you, our customers, and we listened.
The new AutoMask button.
If you’re a photographer dealing with 500 school kids shot against green screen, you want to process the photographs in groups. You don't want to examine and mask each photo individually.

The new AutoMask button in Primatte Chromakey 3.0 software will mask 80% of your photos with one click. AutoMask analyzes an image and automatically removes its background. This allows you to skip the three-step process using three tools from Primatte 2.0. (Although, those tools are still in Primatte if you need them.) Read more about AutoMask. |

Better support for Batch.The best part of using AutoMask is how fluidly it works with Actions and Batches. Primatte Chromakey 3.0 is better than version 2.0 at processing large numbers of images. This is because you can recognize a mask more automatically with the AutoMask tool, tie it into a Photoshop Action, then tie that Action into a Batch Process. Read more about automation. |

Optimized subject vs background.Primatte Chromakey 3.0 gives better recognition between the foreground and background in your photograph. We tweaked the algorithms under the hood so Primatte works more optimally. The Adobe Photoshop plugin now more easily and powerfully recognizes the blue (or green) screen and separates it from your subject. A new control panel called Light Wrap gives better spill suppression and a more convincing blend of the foreground and background. This is great for creating sophisticated composites. Support for CS3 & MacIntel.
Primatte also now supports Photoshop CS3, including full support of Smart Objects and video footage via CS3's new Timeline. You can use Primatte 3.0 on imported video as well as on still images. |
