Primatte Chromakey 3.0 Software : Adobe Photoshop Plugin

Who needs Primatte Chromakey 3.0?

When should you invest in Primatte Chromakey 3.0? When time is valuable to you. Spend your billable time on photography, not post-production. Here are some points to consider.

How will Primatte Chromakey Software work for you?

How is Primatte Chromakey Software different than hand masking in Adobe Photoshop? Sometimes pictures are better than words! Hand masking is an involved process. When dealing with areas of semi-transparency, manual work is generally not effective.

Using Adobe Photoshop tools, the blue back screen is still trapped in the glass candlestick, the candle flame, the mesh skirt and the cast shadow. Using Primatte Chromakey, all blue is easily removed from around, behind and within our subjects.

When we refer to 'hand masking', we mean creating a mask for your chromakey photograph with non-specialized digital tools. If you're not using Primatte Chromakey, you will typically use the functions built in Photoshop. These functions include the Background Eraser tool, Magic Wand tool, Extract command and Color Range command.

Is Primatte right for you?

Who needs Primatte for masking? Generally a professional or semi-pro photographer who is interested in creating a sophisticated product with a short production time. If you are an amateur photographer or a professional doing relatively little chromakey work, Primatte may not be an investment you need to make. It's a great tool, but you know your work and what it needs.

If you are a pro or semi-pro photographer, most likely, you consistently have difficult imagery to mask, like wispy blonde hair. Or you're dealing with color reflection from studio lights. You need to quickly process large groups of photos, and on a regular basis. Perhaps you simply want to be in your photography studio more and in front of a computer less. Primatte can help you.
