How ReSizer 2.0 works.
There are a few ways to scale footage with ReSizer 2.0. You can use parameters for manually setting the new Width and Height. Alternately or in conjunction, you can use presets to choose pre-determined Width/Height ratios.

Set up the project.
| To begin using the plugin, set down a blank layer in your host application. Then apply ReSizer plugin to that layer, and designate its Source as the footage that you want to resize. |

If you have been working with version 1.0, you are accustomed to applying the plugin directly to your footage. We feel this method is easier and less destructive.

Scale the width & height.
There are a few ways to scale ReSizer 2.0 footage. One way is to select the Use Percentage Values checkbox. This will activate the Width and Height values to scale your footage proportionately by percentage.
A second method is uncheck that box. This will activate the Scale Width and Scale Height parameters, and scale your footage by increments.
New to ReSizer 2.0, you can also use resolution presets to scale your footage. |

Use presets for scaling.
In addition to the Percentage and Width/Height scaling options, there are resolution presets to set your width and height. Use the Preset popup to set your footage to premade industry standard proportions.
When you choose a presets, the Scale Width and Scale Height options will automatically adjust to its proportions.
We haven't included all of the recognized proportions - that would be a really long list! - but the most important ones are in the Preset popup. |

Set the Aspect Ratio.
The Source Aspect Ratio also helps you set proportions. This option tells ReSizer what its target output device is. For instance, is your footage being prepared for American TV, European TV, or film?
