Text Anarchy

Filter: Font Changer.

Font Changer is a simple plugin that takes a string of text and animates the font. You can select up to five different fonts and have the text string change from one to the other either sequentially or in a random order. The Font Changer controls are incorporated into other Text Anarchy filters as an Options dialog when you first apply those filters.

Cycle through five fonts.

If the checkbox Sequential Fonts is turned on, then your text string cycles through the loaded fonts. Your text will cycle from Font1 to Font2 and so on. If Sequential Fonts is not checked, then Font Changer will randomly cycle through those fonts.

An important parameter is Font Rate of Change. This sets the speed (in frames) at which fonts change over. You can keyframe FROC, but it's not necessary and can be a bit tricky.

Instead, you may want to just hang with the Randomize Font checkbox and its companion, Font Selector. The Font Selector specifies which font you want to work with. Keyframing this value is a great way to control the speed with which the fonts change. If you decide to check Randomize Font, then you blow away any Font Selector choices, and tell the plugin to cycle randomly.
