Texture Anarchy

Filter: Edge Anarchy.

Edge Anarchy is designed to create textured, distressed, or ornamental borders around images and text. It has a pretty simple interface to apply a variety of treatments to borders, edges and even text. The UI controls let you play with the shape, width, bump distortion and color of the edges.

Edgy, fun design.

Instead of three layers, as with Texture Anarchy and Tiler Anarchy, you just have one layer to composite with in Edge Anarchy. Texture Anarchy layer presets can be used with Edge Anarchy, so feel free to do your texture compositing in Texture Anarchy, then jump into Edge Anarchy when you need it.

Two Rooms are edgy.

There are two levels, or Rooms, in the Edge Anarchy interface. In the Main Room, you create texture out of one compositiong layer. This layer is used as a matte around the edges of the image or text you are working with. The edge can be enhanced with a bump map, color texture, and lighting. In its simplest
expression, Edge creates a basic distressed border based on the underlying texture. More
complex examples have the image taking on the color and texture of the layer.

The Main Room has Color and Cutout channels. Clicking on either channel will bring you to the Deep Noise Room, which lets you control the properties of the texture that you're using for edge control.
